How can I improve my drawings?

I am so concerned of how I can make my drawings more beautiful and liked by other people. My really problem is I want my mother to like my drawings. I really want my mother to at least appreciate my drawings. My classmates, sister or other people who see my drawing is impressed or sometimes they say that I am their insperation. I only want my mother to like my drawing so please help me.





If you also like to draw and if your mother likes your drawing, can you please give me some advise what your drawing looks like and maybe my mother can also appreciate my drawings too?

Your mother should appreciate any artwork that you create. Just draw what you love, as best as you can. :) Maybe dedicate a piece to her.

When your mom doesn't appreciate what you have done ask her what she thinks it needs and take that into consideration for your next drawing.


I do computer art and my mom loves what I do and if she doesn't like something then she tells me and I try to fix it. She does like the drawing i do by hand but i never to.


All you can do is practice. do things that you would never do in a drawing. In other words experiment with the media you use.

Reply:My mom said that once I drew a princess' face too sad. She found them in a stack behind some curtains and I normally don't want people to see my artwork, but she looked at it anyways. I guess you should add mre details or else you could stop showing her and let her discover them somewhere around the house. Please put up a link for one of your drawings too since that would help to see how you draw. Unless it's anime styled.
Reply:keep practicing methods of shading and creative designs, your drawings may be ok, what appears to be unsound, is your mom or parents opinion or interest in art in general, maybe ask your grandparents or other relatives why this is,is this a dream hobby, or career goal, and what do others in family hope for you to become, and can you manage to both otherwise,

Ur mother may be expecting more fair output from you. so don't get harassed. study her personality, her choices. prefer any dark visual art relating with sad, tears, jewelery, hunger etc





wait for time. u should understand that she should like it as a viewer not as a mother...
