Does anyone know of any free photoshop-like things?

okay so im looking for something that will do the trick- but not for the bang of like $999!!! i have the software that came with my camera, which works pretty well but i want something that can do the things kind of like photoshop, like the multi-colored pictures or, making your pictures look like cartoon pictures- something fun! anyone have any good know of anything free? like a trial or something.





OH and i also already have the Adobe Photoshop trial- doesn't really do much! please and thank you!!!:)

Gimp, Picasa, but they are not very full-featured.





Consider Photoshop Elements 6.0 for under $100. It does a LOT more than the freebies.

Reply:Go with Gimp for sure. It takes a little getting used to, and you'll have to get some plugins to get good functionality but it's a a great program. You can accomplish the same things as you can with photoshop, it just take a little more work to get the program setup.
