Whats the name of the type of photograph where the cameraman presses the button and sneaks into the picture?

Well, if only the cameraman is in the shot, it is called a self-portrait. This is done, as you know, using the self-timer on the camera.





Usually they don't "sneak" into the shot, but plan to be there. If however they are trying for a "cameo" within their images, they can use reflections within the frame or just jump into the shot.

They use the selftimer almost all cameras even the most basic has a self timer on it ~~if you have lost your manual take your camera where cameras are sold and someone there should be able to show you how it works ~~Have fun ~~
