How can I know if it works? Cos I don't want to spend a lot of money on film if it isn't going to work.

This is going to be tough without buying film, because the camera does not have a battery. Each film pack has its own battery which is needed to operate the camera. I think you have no choice but to buy a pack of film, but that's not a whole lot of money, is it?





And, you realize that Polaroid film will soon be gone. Don't buy up 100 packs or anything, though, because the batteries DO have a limited storage life and you can end up with a stack of film with dead batteries, which would be worthless to you.
