Reply:im studying 4 a graphic designer, its more like information design where you design advertisements, web page designs, logo's and so on. these people answering has alot of research to do, thy got no idea how hard arts is.
Reply:Designing anything from logo's to products. I.e. MP3's or fragrance containers. Involves using advanced drawing techniques and computer software. One of the main programs used is CAD. Everything around you has been designed. However graphic designers tend to cover the more aesthetic elements of design, such as logo's, packaging, advertisements, web design, etc.

Elements include Line, shape, direction, scale, texture, color, and value. Principles include balance, gradation, repetition, contrast, harmony, unity, dominance of size and interest.


When a graphic designer creates art, he/she must organize these elements and principles within an art piece to create an aesthetic visual impact or interest usually to evoke a reaction from the viewer.
