I have a picture as my background for an advirtisement project I'm doing, and I want to put a smaller picture on top, but when I drag the picture onto it, it brings a white background with it. How do I edit the picture so only the picture shows up against the background?
How do you edit out the background on a picture?
it would help to know what software you are using to do this.

I've never heard of Dogwaffle, may be it doesn't handle transparency I don't know, but I would have thought you have to select the thing you want as a foreground then invert the selection and hit delete. In Photoshop this will make everything selected transparent.
Most ad's are created in Photoshop or Illustrator, as are most magazine covers and a large part of the other content too.
