Is anyone good with valuing antique magazines?

here it is i need help my late nan left me some magazines of fitness and beauty by Joseph Weider this is a full collection of about 20 items in a folder and my dad wants me 2 sell it but i don't want to Ive tried to price it up but all i got was 1 magazine at $7500 yer right i don't think so or maybe don't no i don't want 2 sell it but if its worth alot i want to pretect it please help i really dont want to go to an expert in the st either and ideas on any good site or can u give me a clue

Go to eBay and type in Joseph Weider and see what is out there. Maybe you can find similar items and you can get an idea of what your stuff might be worth. He was a body builder so if you can't find anything about him, try some other early body builder to try to get an idea of value.

The only thing I can suggest is going to a bookstore to find a catalog of antique magazines. If there is such a thing, you should be able to find out what they are worth to a collector. You could also try contacting the Antique Road Show online to see if they know of someone close to you who knows anything about them. The final option would be to contact your insurance agent for your home owners insurance and see if they know of anyone who could appraise something like that for you.
