GIMP photo editing help?

I seen a really cool picture of a mothers hand with her infant child resting in the palm of it. I know that gimp can do it. can anyone help?

Do what? GIMP has most features you might want, but once you have the picture, what do you want to do next?





Ah, what you want is to cut out the infant from an image, and overlay that on your first (hand) image. Then you'll want to try dither vs blur vs hand alter the outline of the infant, to merge the two pictures together.





Before you start that, make sure that the brightness levels match, and the direction of the light matches. You'll also need to add shadowing.

Reply:GIMP, or Photoshop, or any other computer editing software has nothing to do with it. Have you ever considered that good photos are taken WITH THE CAMERA, and are not all just some computer creation?
